It's genuinely unreal how quickly time goes.
Just three more weeks in Europe.
Today we explored the leather markets, it's been too long since we've gone down there. Found some gifts for friends & family.. all the merchants try and reel you in with their version of "oh ciao Bella, I make special price for you" ha. Bargaining always makes the whole experience a little more fun.
Spent the past two weeks being a little lazy in Florence, but it's been so nice. Shelley and I were on the go every weekend the first half of the semester we didn't really take any slow Saturdays or Sundays to just stroll the alley ways.
Last night we all went to dinner & out dancing across the river, and walking back over the bridge home I realized I won't see these bridges or the Pontevecchio anymore after these last short 22 days. So weird, so fast. Maybe hopefully one day I'll be able to bring back my family or loved one, or all of the above, and show them these places that helped me grow in ways I couldn't have in the states.
Much to look forward to at home though. Especially my two week old baby nephew. Yes, he will call me Zia and I will spoil the cute little man rotten.
Had a little inspiration tonight from a super random, but definitely rad fashion show. My parents laughed a little, well.. a lot, when I told them I had this new urge to sew. But you just wait. Don't doubt this girl, I surprise myself more often than not.. I'll surprise you too. (hopefully)
On a more adventurous note.. last big excursion of the semester. GREECE. Way stoked. Four of us girls leave Friday for 4 nights on the coast of Athens, 100 meters from the sand. We probably won't get to an island though. Apparently it's a holiday weekend there, so the ferries won't be running. But that is more than okay. It is Greece for goodness sake.
There was excitement in my heart this morning. I woke up eager and refreshed. God is good. Timing.. all things.. are the way they're intended. I know that's vague, it's supposed to be.
It's true.
